Whiskey Sour

5m cocktail

Ingredients

  • 60 mL bourbon
  • 30 mL lemon juice freshly squeezed and strained
  • 20 mL simple syrup
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Place 6 or 7 ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour in the bourbon, coating the ice. Add in the fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white. Shake in a vertical motion for 30 seconds.
  2. Strain slowly into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.
