Passionfruit Chili Margarita

Ingredients
- 60 mL tequila reposado infused with chili pepper
- 30 mL lime juice
- 20 mL agave syrup
- 1 passionfruit alternatively passionfruit nectar
- ice
Instructions
To infuse the tequila, slice 1 chili pepper (with seeds included) and mix with about 300 milliliters tequila. Let sit at least 12 hours or overnight for extra spice. Strain out the peppers after 24 hours.
If you don’t have time to infuse the tequila, muddle 2-3 small chili pepper slices into the mixture.
- Place several ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour in the tequila, coating the ice. Add in the fresh lime juice, agave syrup and passionfruit. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Rim a glass with lime juice and tajin, then fill with ice. Pour in the drink, optionally straining out the passionfruit seeds.
- Garnish with a small passionfruit and chili pepper slice.
